    • Straps to Bottle with Velcro
    • Plugs Into Lighter or Power Outlet
    • No-Wire Installation
Maximize Performance. If your bottle is cold, your nitrous system won't perform effectively, slowing you down and robbing you of precious power. Make sure you're getting maximum performance from your system with a ZEX Plug-in Nitrous Bottle Heater. A ZEX Plug-In Bottle Header automatically maintains optimum bottle pressure with precision thermostats, ensuring consistency from run to run.

Easy Installation. Unlike other solutions which require wiring, the ZEX plug-in heater just plugs in to your cigarette lighter or power point. The electrical components of this high performance product are already pre-assembled and molded into the heater, so it's really just plug and play. When you're ready to run, the heater unit straps to your nitrous bottle with velcro for a secure fit.

I've got a full Speaker/Sub/Amp setup in my trunk, with 12v power, accessory and remote lines. Would I be able to plug this into my accessory and ground lines, and then it would just turn on/off when my amps do?

    SuperOstrich

can this be put on a toggle swich to turn on and off as long as its getting power from a 12 volt source

    dustinp

    • If your 12 volt battery source is on a toggle switch, then you could just keep this ZEX Plug-In Nitrous Bottle Heater plugged in at all times and just turn on the switch.

Do you have an diagram on wiring the cigarette lighter switch to the bottle heater itself? I do not want to wire anything up wrong.

    JesseR

    • The ZEX Plug-In Nitrous Bottle Heater is not polarity sensitive, so the wires just need to be run one to each of the wires from the 12v adapter.

      Ok

This heater will maintain heat. Getting it up to temp with this bottle heater alone won't happen on a bottle that is remotely cold. I have tried many times to heat up a bottle thats 45 degrees with the pressure only getting to about 825 after an hour. If I heat up the bottle in garage first then use bottle heater it will maintain around 950. I believe in the summer on hot days this will work decent but time will tell.

      Zen heater

Doesn't seem to heat to well . It's heats up but not enough to bring up the pressure . I had it on my bottle for a hour without a increase of pressures

      Works Great

Easy install has a temperature controlled relay contained in the heater itself, so you just hook it up to power and ground and put a switch in, it will keep the bottle at about 950psi no matter what shutting itself off and coming back in to maintain that!

Takes a long time to heat up

It works but it takes a while to heat up especially if its cold outside. If its 60 degrees or warmer its not a problem but any colder and you could be waiting a long time to get pressure up.

I think overpriced but needed for a nitrous system...

I think the price zex charges for this is pretty high for what you get but this is something you need to run consistent numbers at the track.

      Bottle Heater

The bottle heater I received was not the same in the Picture. It was the same type just a different color. Mine is a Orange and Pinkish color. This heater takes a lil bit to heat up to 950psi but you can tell its working right away. Also you have to attache the two wires together before use. Which is pretty easy. Overall it does the job.
