    Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out these Raxiom Coyote style tail lights, available either non smoked or smoked, fitting all 2005-2009 Mustangs. These lights are the creation of industry leader Raxiom who continues to produce some really cool aftermarket lighting for your Mustang, all backed by a full 2 year warranty. These lights are of course inspired by the 2010-2012 Mustang tail lights, and feature very similar styling. That styling does include these two center positioned, vertical reverse lights, that are incorporated into the S197s 3 bar tail light design, which I will say works very well on the back of these cars. In addition to the modern Coyote styling, you also have the option of picking these lights up in a OE style red lens, or for a more aggressive look Raxiom does offer these tail lights in a dark smoked option, shown back there on our 2005 V6. Both options do utilize the same black housing, but the smoked option do utilize a dark smoked lens as opposed to the OE style which utilize a ruby red lens. Because these lights are made to original factory specifications using OEM quality materials, the fit and finish is dead on, in fact getting them bolted up to your S197 should only take you about 2 hours using basic hand tools. If you should run into any problems whatsoever you can always reference the detailed install video located on this product page. Because these tail lights still utilize the basic 3 bar design, running a sequential tail light kit is not only possible, but some would say the effect is even more dramatic thanks to the reverse lights breaking up the 3 individual bars, after all it was the 2010 style Mustangs that did usher in the sequential tail lights as standard equipment, making them a no brainer for these Coyote style tail lights.         I am wanting to buy these tail lights. I have "plug and play" sequential tail lights on my stock V6 tail lights. Can they be used with the Raxiom Coyote tail lights??

        • We do not currently source just the drivers and passenger side taillights and would be unable to sell just one at this point in time.

        I have the sequential setup on my tail lights. Do I need resistors or a relay to convert over to leds?

        • With Sequential Tail Lights, a set of LED Load Equalizers would be required to use LED bulbs.

            Great lights came within 24 hours after ordering could not believe it. Took about five minutes per side once you get the panel off the back. Easy installation all you need is a 7/16 deep socket. They look great work great would recommend them.

            Great tail lights!

            The only thing my daughter didn't like about her 2008 Mustang was the stock tail lights. She wanted ones that sequenced like the newer models. And I wanted her to have LED lights. Whola! American Muscle directed me to these lights. They were easy to install and IMO look nicer than newer model stock lights.

            OEM quality

            Quality product (but expected none less from AM). Bought them because I had a cracked lens and the price was right. And I do like the appearance better than my original (‘07 with single backup light stuck in the corner). Only 2 things I didn’t expect, the red tint of the lens is a shade lighter than my original or maybe more translucent?...but don’t care. And though there are 2 strips for backup lights only one is active and the other is for looks...would have been obvious if I thought about it, but don’t care. The biggest difficulty with installation was getting through the protective packaging. Haven’t been disappointed with anything from AM yet.
