    PowerForce Clutch. Upgrading your 2013-2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang to an ACE Racing PowerForce Twin Disc Clutch Kit will allow your Mighty Serpent to handle more power than the factory clutch ever could. The PowerForce Twin Disc Clutch Kit is a performance oriented clutch that uses twin cerametallic friction discs in a 8-pad design for superior control allowing it to handle up to 1150 ft-lbs of torque (at the crank) making it perfect for use on the street, track or drag strip.

    Centrifugal Lever Assisted. Ace Racing PowerForce Clutches feature ACE's patented Centrifugal-Assist lever technology. As rpm's increase centrifugal force lifts the levers which in turn increase the leverage of the arms pressing downward on the ring allowing for more lockup ability at higher rpms. Centrifugal assist allows for up to 30% more applied pressure throughout the operating rpm, for minimal pedal effort all while maintaining the ability to hold the needed torque.

    Sprung Hub Discs. Ace Racing PowerForce Clutches were engineered with sprung hub disc centers. A sprung hub helps reduce gear rattle and allows for smoother engagement, which will increase the life of your Mustang's transmission when compared to standard rigid center hub discs.

    Aluminum Flywheel. CNC machined from 6065 aluminum for high heat capacity, durability and lightweight, the included ACE Racing Flywheel is specifically engineered to reduce inertia for improved engine response. This ACE Racing Flywheel features a ring gear of 164 teeth, as well as a 8-bolt crank pattern.

    Light Weight. Unlike other performance clutches that are made from heavy stamped steel, this ACE Racing PowerForce Clutch is CNC machined from 7075 T6 aluminum for superior strength, durability and light weight. Along with the included aluminum flywheel this ACE Racing Clutch Kit is about 15lbs to 25lbs lighter than the factory setup.

    Application. This ACE Racing PowerForce Twin Disc Clutch with 8-bolt Flywheel is designed for use on 2013-2014 Shelby GT500 Mustangs equipped with a TR-6060 manual 26-spline transmission.

    It says it fits 2013-14 Shelby GT500 but my 2012 Shelby GT500 also uses the TR6060 26 spline. will it not fit my 2012?

    • The ACE Racing PowerForce Twin Disc Clutch w/ Flywheel will only bolt up to the 2013 to 2014 GT500. Unfortunately it will not be compatible with your 2012 GT500.

      Wears out WAY too quickly

      My drive my Shelby as my daily driver. I only put 8000 miles on this clutch having installed it once the stock clutch wore out at 26K miles. It's toast. For amount of money and the "amazing" design it should last longer than 8K miles. And I don't race or anything crazy...in fact I'm easy on it because I like my car and like to keep it running good. I would never buy this product again.

      Doesn't Last long

      My shelby has been built to 800 rwhp, I will say the clutch grips very well. It also has a very nice stiff feel to the clutch pedal and releases almost immediately at the bottom. Unfortunately I will have to rate this clutch low. I barely put 11k miles on the clutch from daily driving and the clutch has already burnt out. The clutch was babied for most of it's short life span and there was no excessive wear anywhere when pulled.

      Best Clutch I've used

      I had to replace my stock clutch because of the added horsepower. When I had my GT500 updated to the SuperSnake with 850 horsepower the stock clutch couldn't take it. The new Ace has a great feel and grabs instantly I look forward to racing with it soon. Thank you American Muscle Rod Simas
