Description
Performance Fiberglass Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-COPO Style Cowl Hood, unpainted, offers a lightweight replacement for the factory hood on Chevrolet Camaro models from 2010 to 2015. This cowl hood features a classic Type-CP design and provides a distinctive style upgrade for Camaro owners.
Construction and Appearance. This hood is handcrafted from fiberglass with a bonded two-piece construction, including a fiberglass outer shell and an internal fiberglass skeleton to add strength and durability. The hood comes with a primer finish ready for paint. Care should be taken during sanding and curing to maintain surface integrity.
Installation. Installation may require minor adjustments and is recommended to be performed by experienced professionals to ensure proper fitment. It mounts using original equipment hardware (not included), and typically does not require drilling, though close attention to fitment details is important.
Application. This hood is specifically designed to fit all trims of the Chevrolet Camaro from 2010 through 2015. It retains the 2010-2013 center body line styling while remaining compatible with 2014 and 2015 models. Note that it does not support the factory windshield washer nozzles and hose.
