      Description

      Carbon Fiber Performance Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-TT Hood; Carbon Fiber is a lightweight, performance-oriented hood designed to replace the factory hood on Chevrolet Camaros. It enhances the vehicle’s style and reduces weight, improving performance and handling. This hood is engineered to deliver both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits for enthusiasts seeking superior quality and durability.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, the hood features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that protect and preserve the glossy finish. The carbon fiber exterior is bonded to a fiberglass skeleton, creating a strong yet lightweight structure with a consistent weave pattern for exceptional stiffness and strength. The removable mesh screens are paintable, allowing customization.

      Installation. Installation requires minor adjustments for optimal fitment. The hood mounts with original equipment hardware (not included) and does not require drilling; however, care must be taken when closing due to sensitivity of composite materials to impact.

      Application. Designed to fit all trims of the 2010 through 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, this hood demands the use of hood pins and a heat shield to ensure safe operation and durability.
