Description
High-Performance Brake System. The Baer Extreme+ Front Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors; Silver Calipers is engineered for serious stopping power and heat dissipation in high-performance driving scenarios. It replaces the factory front brake system to dramatically improve braking response, fade resistance, and overall vehicle control during spirited driving or track use.
Construction and Appearance. This system features a one-piece Monoblock 6-piston caliper precisely CNC machined from US sourced 2618 aluminum forging for exceptional strength and heat management. The calipers have a durable powder-coated finish, stainless steel pistons, and hardware to resist corrosion. The rotors are vented, two-piece design with slots and drilled holes, zinc plated for rust resistance, and include a billet aluminum hat, all pre-assembled with high-grade stainless steel hardware.
Installation. Designed to fit using OE spindles and hubs, installation is straightforward with no drilling required. However, fitment should be confirmed with the provided template, especially regarding wheel clearance to ensure compatibility with 18-inch or larger wheels.
Application. Intended specifically for the 2005-2013 Corvette C6 front axle, this kit excludes stock Corvette wheels but may fit factory Z06 wheels pending verification with the fitment template.
