Description
High-Performance Rear Brake System. The Baer 14-Inch Pro+ Rear Brake Kit is designed to provide exceptional stopping power and enhanced durability for rear wheels. This system is intended for use as a direct replacement upgrade, offering improved brake feel and heat dissipation during aggressive driving or track conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The brake kit features 6-piston fixed calipers that are CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum and finished with a durable powder coating for long-lasting corrosion resistance. The 2-piece rotors are vented, slotted, drilled, and zinc plated, with billet aluminum hats for reduced weight and improved aesthetics. Stainless steel components, including pistons and hardware, add to the system's corrosion resistance and longevity.
Installation. Installation requires using existing OEM rear knuckles and hubs with the included brackets and stainless braided hoses. No drilling is necessary, making the upgrade process straightforward for experienced installers.
Application. Designed to fit the rear axle of 2005 through 2013 Chevrolet Corvette models equipped with OE rear knuckles and hubs, this brake kit supports wheels with a minimum diameter of 18 inches and 5x120.65mm lug patterns.
