Description
High-Performance Brake Kit. The Baer Extreme+ Front Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors; Grabber Blue Calipers provides superior braking power and modulation for enhanced safety and control during aggressive driving and track use. Designed to replace factory brakes, this system improves stopping ability and reduces fade on 2005 to 2014 Mustang models.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a one-piece monoblock 6-piston caliper CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging, ensuring high strength and a lightweight design. The calipers are finished with a durable powder coat, while the rotors are high-quality two-piece slotted and drilled zinc-plated with billet aluminum hats for excellent heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Designed for direct bolt-on installation using OEM spindles and hubs without the need for drilling. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and common tools; compatible with most 18-inch or larger wheels.
Application. Fits 2005 to 2014 Ford Mustang (S197) models. Note that non-ABS V6 models require an additional hose assembly (part number 6801163) for compatibility.
