Description
High-Performance Rear Brake System. The Baer Pro+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Fire Red Calipers provides superior stopping power for rear-wheel applications. It is designed for performance enthusiasts seeking enhanced braking control, heat dissipation, and durability under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features a six-piston caliper CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum. The calipers have a powder-coated finish and incorporate stainless steel pistons, abutments, and noise suppression clips. The two-piece vented rotor includes slots and drilled holes for optimal cooling, and the zinc-plated rotor hats are billet aluminum for added strength and corrosion resistance.
Installation. The kit is designed to bolt directly onto the OEM Ford 8.8-inch solid axle and requires no drilling, simplifying installation. However, wheel clearance should be verified, as the system fits most 17-inch or larger wheels.
Application. Fitment is specific to the 1994-2004 Ford Mustang, excluding 1999-2004 Cobra models, due to axle variations. It will also fit the 1993 Cobra with a five-lug axle swap.
