Description
High-Performance Front Brake Kit. The Baer Track4 Front 5-Lug Big Brake Kit with 13-Inch Rotors and Grabber Blue Calipers provides superior stopping power and enhanced brake feel for performance vehicles. It is engineered to upgrade the front braking system by integrating 4-piston fixed calipers and large vented rotors designed for aggressive street and track use.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features calipers CNC machined from US-sourced forged or billet aluminum, powder coated for durability and aesthetics. The rotors are one-piece, 13-inch diameter, slotted, drilled, and zinc plated to resist corrosion while providing excellent heat dissipation and performance. Stainless steel hardware, pistons, and noise suppression clips ensure long service life and reduced noise.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge with spindle modifications necessary for proper fitment. Drilling is required during installation, and all necessary mounting hardware, including stainless braided hoses and mounting brackets, is included for a secure fit.
Application. Designed to fit 1979-1993 Mustangs equipped with OE V8 spindles, specifically requiring the 1987-1993 V8 spindles (5-lug pattern). This kit does not fit other spindle configurations without modification.
