    Increase Horsepower And Torque. Bolt on extra horsepower and torque that you can feel throughout the entire RPM band with a set of BBK Long Tube Headers. These BBK Chrome Long Tube Headers when combined with a matching shorty Mid Pipe will improve your Mustangs exhaust flow increasing your pony's horsepower and torque.

    Quality BBK Construction. These BBK Long Tube Headers are manufactured from 1-3/4" CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow and feature one piece, laser cut 3/8" header flanges for additional strength, leak-free performance and an OEM fit. These headers are then completed in a bright chrome finish for good looks and a long life.

    Required Upgrade. A BBK off-road or catted shorty H or X pipe is required for installation of these Long Tube Headers. (see drop down option above).

    Application. This pair of BBK Long Tube Headers are specifically designed to fit 1986-1993 manual Mustangs that are equipped with the 5.0L V8 engine, including the LX 5.0, GT and SVT Cobra models. Kit includes mounting hardware, gaskets, and instructions for an easy install.Please Note. These BBK long tube headers fit 5 speed manual transmissions only.

      BBK Headers

      I'm running straight long tube BBK headers on my 1984 mustang gt n it's loud n sounds great.

      Fitment issue

      I have a 88 coupe and driver side header was hitting steering shaft and the car would not turn at all. I had to put 3 washers under motor mounts to make it work. They said I will need taller motor mounts

      Good price, good quality, fits well

      My 1-3/4" long tube BBK headers have great quality with a single thick flange and fit the car well. I only had to dimple the passenger side floor slightly. They clear the steering shaft on the drivers side. They also clear my Quicktime Scatter Shield and Canton Road Racing Oil Pan. They tuck tightly to the floorboards for good ground clearance. The only modification I did to them was to grind the holes out to 2.5" on the collector ball flanges. The are less than 2.25" from the factory.
