Description
Performance Enhancement. The B&M Holeshot 3000 Torque Converter for 4L60E/4L65E Automatic Transmission is designed to improve vehicle acceleration by increasing stall speed. It enables engines with performance modifications, especially those with big cams that reduce low-end torque, to launch in a higher rpm range where maximum torque is available. This torque converter is essential for serious enthusiasts seeking stronger durability and quicker launches without sacrificing lock-up functionality.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring steel construction with a blue finish, this torque converter incorporates copper furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine, along with a precision alloy impeller hub for enhanced strength. It also includes heavy-duty needle bearings and is precision balanced on certified equipment, ensuring durability and reliability under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation requires mechanical knowledge of automatic transmissions but no drilling is necessary. It is designed to fit directly onto compatible 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions using existing bolt patterns.
Application. This torque converter is not compatible with 1997 to 2005 Corvette models (C5 & C6) and should be used only with eligible GM vehicles within the specified range.
