Description
Performance Torque Converter. It enhances acceleration by allowing vehicles to launch at higher RPMs where torque output is maximized, making it ideal for performance enthusiasts who have made engine modifications such as installing big cams that reduce low-end torque. This torque converter helps achieve quicker acceleration and improved overall vehicle performance under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high-quality steel with copper furnace-brazed impeller and turbine components, it provides exceptional strength and durability. It features a new precision alloy steel impeller hub and new heavy-duty needle bearings, all fully balanced and pressure tested for reliable, race-proven performance and long service life.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required. It fits existing bolt patterns of 10.75 and 11.50 inches and serves as a direct replacement for compatible 700R4 and 4L60 transmissions with 30-spline input shafts.
Application. Fits 97-04 Corvette C4, Excluding Z06, due to specific transmission spline and lock-up feature requirements not met by this converter.
