      Description

      High-Stall Torque Converter Upgrade. The B&M Holeshot 3800 Torque Converter is designed for 1979 to 1982 Mustangs running C4 automatic transmissions and performance builds. Featuring a 3800 RPM stall speed, this converter dramatically improves launch and acceleration response—ideal for big cam setups and naturally aspirated engines tuned for high-RPM output.

      Construction and Appearance. Engineered with furnace brazed impeller fins, a precision alloy impeller hub, and heavy-duty needle bearings, this torque converter is fully balanced and pressure tested for dependable performance. Its 11.4-inch bolt circle and 26-spline input are designed for direct fitment with compatible C4 transmissions. Built to handle street and strip abuse, though not suited for nitrous, supercharged, or trans-brake-equipped vehicles.

      Installation. Installation is hard and requires transmission removal and proper stall tuning. Professional installation is highly recommended, along with a transmission cooler to manage increased heat levels.
