Improves Handling. If you want to turn your Mustang into a corner-carving machine upgrade to a BMR Suspension A-arm Support Brace. Installing a BMR A-arm Support Brace will greatly increase chassis stiffen thereby reducing deflection and body roll for track car-like handling.

Tubular Steel Construction. Made in the USA from TIG welded heavy wall DOM steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, this A-arm support Brace is completed in a durable bright red powdercoat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Easy, Bolt-on Installation. The BMR Suspension A-arm Support Brace is engineered to be a direct bolt-on upgrade reusing the stock mounting hardware present on the a-arms' rear mounts. Dos this replace the current brace on a 2012 gt or does it go along with the factory one on the car.

      Cool product.

My car had bolts in different from instructions and that made the job a little harder. Guess Ford makes them either way. Tight in there to remove nuts, etc. Otherwise simple once bolts are out.

      support arm

This is well built but there were no directions or bolts supplied. It was not hard to figure out how to install it for myself, but I am not sure about others with less experience opertunities.

Like Taking Years Off My Car

I'm really happy with this purchase, especially for the price. I installed the a-arm brace coupled with a strut tower brace, and the handling and overall driving feel was surprisingly improved. I installed the strut tower brace first. It definitely helped reduce body roll. Immediately after that test drive, I installed the A-arm brace and went out again. It further stiffen the ride, but not in a bad way at all. Not only did it feel tighter, but the whole car felt more solid as a whole. Going over speed bumps no longer shook you from side to side, but instead was a firm, but not harsh, up-and-over. My car feels like it's years younger now. The steering is more direct, even the rear feels more predictable when taking sharp corners at speed. Overall my car doesn't feel as rickety or sloppy as it was. It's much more manageable and together. Install was straight forward, about 30 minutes. Instructions say to use a jack and jack stands, I used ramps. I'd recommend getting a 21mm wrench with an angled end if you don't already have one. Getting a socket where you need and having enough room to actually turn it isn't going to work. After removing the bolt and nut that will secure the brace, I would recommend flipping their orientation so the nut is now on bottom and the bolt with welded tab is on top. It will make reattachment much easier, especially when it comes to tightening it all back up. The instructions from BMR show the bolts/nuts in this orientation without the brace installed, but I'm pretty certain you won't find them this way when you get under there. You'll have to flip them around. Lastly, before you torque everything down, check the orientation of the brace itself. In one direction it will be right up against your oil pan drain plug, the other, you'll have plenty of clearance.

      Great support

This item does what it advertises and definitely brings more rigidity to the a-arm. The install was was very easy and to the point.

      great addition

Already having several other suspension upgrades on my 2011 GT my car already handled well but it definitely wanted to follow road ruts and grooves especially under heavier braking and turn in wasn't as neutral as I prefer. Re aligned the car to be as front neutral as possible but this a-arm really helped makes turn in so much more predictable and my car doesn't want to track so much in the front anymore in somewhat curious how this would do with stock suspension considering how much of a steering feel I got with already modded suspension. would definitely recommend to people who want a bit stiffer front without making the car drag racing stiff.

      BMR Suspension

I had to buy replacement a arms because the OEM ones were going bad. The dealer wanted over $600 for OEM replacements so I decided to go with an upgrade. Great choice. BMR is a great fit and the car rides on rails. I also have BMR sway bars, strut tower brace, A arm support, pan hard bar and rear lower control arms. I also installed Eibach Pro kit lowering springs. Car feels great. Now to work on the engine upgrades.

      cornering improved!

The car is stiffer now, the body roll was reduced and every corner you get the car feels more in conjunction with the steering, great product and to top it off nice red finish.

      BMR parts fit excellent!

Looks nice under the car (red). Just one thing to keep in mind now: need crows foot for proper torque on drain plug, as sockets no longer clear with the lowered engine mounts k member. Not a huge deal- drain plug on my motor was super close. Ties the aftermarket k member together.

On some roads or highways the car would get a little frontend shimmy. That is now gone with this support brace.
