    Increased Clearance. BMR Suspension specifically designed their Tubular K-member to provide additional clearance for both long tube headers and aftermarket turbo systems allowing for easier installation and maintenance when compared to the factory K-member.

    Lowered Motor Mounts. This BMR Suspension Tubular K-member was engineered with integrated motor mounts that are a 1/2" lower than the factory mounts to maximize under hood clearance, perfect for aftermarket roots type supercharger systems.

    Tubular Construction. Made in the USA from TIG welded steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity, this BMR K-Member is 18lbs lighter than the factory unit and is completed in a durable black hammer-tone powdercoat finish for great looks and long lasting corrosion resistance.

    Bolt-on Design. Installing a BMR tubular K-member may seem complicated, but it is a direct bolt-on that can be completed with just basic hand tools! No welding required.

    Optional Upgrade. If you find the included polyurethane motor mount bushings to be too soft for your specific driving needs you can upgrade to a set of optional BMR Solid Aluminum Motor Mount Bushings. Installing a set of Solid Bushings will help regain the horse power and torque that is normally lost do to engine and driveline movement. BMR recommends their Solid Motor Mount Bushings for high performance street, track and drag Mustangs that are making more than 700 ft/lbs of Torque. Sold separately, see option listed above.

    Application. This BMR Suspension Tubular K-Member is designed to fit all 2005-2014 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, BOSS, and Shelby GT500 models with BMR or factory A-arms and spindles installed.

        Will the k-member brace increase nvh in comparison to the stock motor mounts?

        • You would see an increase in NVH with this K-member compared to the stock k-member and motor mounts.

        Will shorty headers still attach to the exhaust without a problem after installing this K-Member?

        • You should not experience any issues with exhaust fitment when using this K Member, however the midpipe will sit slightly lower.

        My question was never answered, which is can I retain my cobra jet springs with a bmr k member, or do I need coilovers? Thanks

        • The BMR Tubular K-Member can retain your Cobra Jet Springs. Coil overs are not required.

        With this bmr k member can I keep my cobra jet springs I just bought from you folks. Or do I have to go to coilovers , thanks

        • This k-member will allow you to use your existing springs. You would not need to change your control arms or springs when installing this k-member.

        Will this lower the motor enough to allow installation of the strut tower brace when the Cobra Jet Manifold is installed?

        • The BMR Tubular K-Member will lower the engine 1/2" which will not provide adequate clearance for a strut tower brace with the Cobra Jet Intake.

            Not so happy

            2008 Bullit edition Mustang. Professionally installed by shop. Lowers the motor so the Roush supercharger clears the upper cross bar (that's good). Transmits tons of engine vibration (not just noise) into the cab and causes the shifter barely engage in 2nd and 4th gears. Will pop out of 2nd when hitting a bump or when allowing the engine to slow the car. The install included the Ford Performance Suspension Kit in addition to the K-member. It is pretty much not drivable because it pops out of gear at any time. The Mustang was previously equipped with a Steeda short shifter. All worked perfect prior to the install. Shop says that the vibrations are just natural. I'm not buying it as I have been in other vehicles with similar installs with no problem. I guess it is left up to me to track down the problem.

            Lines up perfectly!!!

            I read the reviews on this member. Can not understand how somebody says this doesn't line up. Everything went together perfectly. So much more room and clearance in so many areas. I have an upgraded oil pan, and had to trim the OEM K member to make clear. I now can easily change the oil pan. The motor mounts alone are worth it. If you are upgrading motor mounts, just commit and upgrade the K member. If you work on your car, this will forever change the cussing that is involved in getting to certain areas.

            K Member

            2 1/2 hour install on two post lift. Significantly harsher ride but I love it. Lowered center of gravity...gonna see if my original strut tower bar will clear now. #AwesomeSauce

            Changed the k member to install a set of kooks long tube headers and to lose weight up front and improve handling BMR has a killer upgrade fits perfectly inexpensive, workmanship is great not all the bad to install and you really feel the difference

            Really good

            A lot lighter than the stock k member, looks fantastic in the hammer tone black, more vibration noise due to the motor mount bushings but that is expected, all in all good item

            Great weight savings!

            Changed my headers, and decided to go ahead and change k member since it was gonna be out anyway. Fitmet was great, everything went smooth! Big weight difference! Lowered center of gravity, of the motor too!
