Will this product work with BMR subframe connectors? From the customer photos i can not tell if this support brace can be used along with the BMR subframe connectors. They look like they are mounted in similar places under the car, but i can not tell.

    • The BMR A-Arm Support Brace - Hammertone (05-14 All) can be used with the subframe connectors as BMR makes products that go in conjunction with their other products.

      I love it

      1. Helps in handling 2. Helps quite a bit in aligning the control arms. Since I am running a BMR kmember and nonadjustable a arms, there was a little play in placement of the rear mount of the a arms. This brace made it very easy to get e verything it line up perfect!

      Attention 2005 Mustang Owners

This is a fantastic product it does exactly what it's advertised. I immediately noticed flatter cornering. The hardest part is removing the bolts for the installation. I say "attention 2005 Mustang GT owners" because the other types of A-arm braces (Ford Motorsports) that do not utilize the pre-existing a arm bolts on the inside of the A-arms will not fit because there are no bolt holes on the back arms for mounting like later models came with.

Easy to install lost the factory one so bought this one as it was cheaper. I daily drive the car felt no difference with it on or off. Really just wanted it back on for oil pan protection. Boss 302 brace with scoop I also have its a pain to change oil with and it scraps on everything.

Good cheap suspension mod. Worth it for less than $50. Installed in about 20 minutes.

It fits. It's a bar that replaces a bar. Besides the ends and paint finish, they're pretty much the same. It may or may not provide an improvement, most likely it's in my head if it did help, other than my ego. I just had an extra $60 to spend and it matches some of the other parts under the car. Got me again AM!

      Very solid brace

Took longer to jack the car up than to actually install the arm. Very solid and beefy compared to the frp, unit. I really like the hammer tone finish, I Expect it to be rust free for years. Front end feels very planted. Can't go wrong for this price point.

      As Described

Installed this the weekend after the BMR K-Member. The oem K-Member has a brace that cannot be re used without fabrication, and for the price of this brace, it makes sense to keep everything rigid.

      BMR A-Arm Support

The BMR A-Arm support stiffens the front suspension to reduce body sway in corners. Adding it was noticeable even though I already had a shock tower brace installed under the hood. It's an inexpensive way to improve handling that can be installed at home. The brace fit like it should and bolted on with existing hardware. The install looks like a 15 minute job, but unfortunately the factory nut is installed on top of the A-Arm instead of underneath so getting a wrench on it is difficult. Once you get the OEM nut and bolt off it's easy to install the brace by putting the bolt through the top and the nut on the bottom where you can get a socket wrench on it.

      A-arm support brace

This toot about 15 mins to install, and added a noticeable difference in handling. I strongly recommend adding this to any mustang.

Extra support where you need it.

The A-Arm Brace came with no instructions. However, I was able to find a single page install sheet on the BMR web site. Installation was easy but not as easy as it could have been. The instructions indicated that the factory mounting flag bolts were installed from the top with the nuts on the bottom; this was not the case. I had to use a very long extension to reach the a-arm mounting nuts from the top through the engine compartment. It only added about 10 minutes to the process. I reinstalled the bolts from the top, applied thread locking compound to the bolts, tightened and torqued the nuts and was finished in about 35 minutes. My car already had a factory support for this function but I figured that a little extra support never hurt.

Great product, great fit! The car feels stiffer at turns. This is a must if you are upgrading your suspension.
