For Superb Performance and Handling. With a set of BMR Coupe Lowering Springs installed on your 1979-2004 Mustang, you can unleash your untapped driving potential. That's because these Lowering Springs are engineered with street performance enthusiasts in mind. These Springs were designed to lower your Pony to an optimal level to reduce squatting while accelerating, body roll while cornering, and extreme nose diving when hard braking. With these Springs on your Mustang, you will experience better handling while maintaining an overall smooth and comfortable ride.
Optimum Mustang Stance. These BMR lowering springs not only optimize your Mustang's stance for improved performance, they also improve your Mustang's appearance. These lowering springs are designed to lower your ride height approximately 1.0" up front and 1.0" in the rear to eliminate that unsightly tire to fender gap. This makes your Pony look sleeker and more aggressive.
Superior Construction. Designed and manufactured in the USA, these BMR Lowering Springs are CNC cold wound from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire. To guarantee that their springs will not sag over time, BMR fully compresses every spring twice to permanently set the spring. To eliminate the stresses induced during the winding process BMR springs are stress-relieved at 750 degrees F. Shot-peening is then used to eliminate any residual surface stresses. As the final step every spring is compressed and tested allowing BMR to offer a Lifetime Warranty against spring sag.
Linear Design. Linear springs (also known as standard rate springs) are engineered with a constant spring rate that stays the same as the spring compresses. This linear rate of compression allows for optimum traction and a more predictable handling feel at both low and high speeds. Linear springs will have a slightly rougher ride when compared to progressive springs. Linear rate springs are a popular choice for track and road course driven Mustangs.
Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle’s pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.
Professional Installation Recommended. Seeing that a spring compressor is required for installation of these Coil Springs, AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation. With the proper tools, installation can be completed in about three hours. Please note that an alignment is highly recommended after installation.
Lifetime Sag Warranty. BMR Suspension covers their lowering springs with a lifetime warranty against spring sag. Some exclusions may apply, please see manufacturer's warranty for details.
