More Horsepower And Torque. Improve the performance of your V6 Mustang throughout the entire RPM range with a Borla Long Tube Header and Off-Road Shorty X-Pipe combo kit from AmericanMuscle. This Borla Header and X-Pipe kit will greatly improve your 3.7L Mustangs exhaust flow over the restrictive stock manifolds and Mid Pipe to significantly increase your Pony's horsepower and torque.

Quality Construction. Borla Long Tube Exhaust headers are CNC mandrel bent from 1-3/4" 16 gauge aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel tubing for unrestricted airflow. They feature one piece 3/8" header flanges for added strength, leak-free performance and an OEM style fit.

Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for proper operation.

Application. This Borla Long Tube Header and Off-Road X-Pipe combo kit is specifically designed to fit the 2011 to 2014 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 3.7L Ti-VCT engine. Fits both manual and automatic transmissions.

Technical notes. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.

    An almost perfect experience

Let me start off by saying the quality of these pipes are amazing and the sound they produce even out of a six cylinder is impressive. This combo roars and growls all day long. The bad news is when I received them, the ends were bent inwards straight out of the box. I had to put them on a pipe expander which I was unahppy about considering the price I paid for them. Other than that Borla did a great job. Just a little dissapointed.

    Great fit and finish

It took 2 hours to install by my self. Very easy install. Spend the money on new ford studs and nuts and bbk gaskets. U need front 02 extensions to move the fronts to the collectors

    Best product

You can feel the big difference on the low end for sure. The only thing it’s really raspy at 3k with stock mufflers.

    EXTREMELY LOUD but.....

It’s an amazing exhaust. Makes the v6 scream. Loudest V6 set up I’ve heard man. It’s too loud! I received everything in my package except the rear O2 extension chords. I was pretty upset i had to buy one. Spent an extra $50 aside from the $1,080 i had already had to pay. Pretty upset about that and i wish American muscle can do something about that.

    RICER ON STERIODS WITHOUT RESONATORS!!

I love these on my 2014 v6 but they admittedly sound like a ricer on steroids with just them on. I went and got magna flow resonators and boom, problem solved. The gains are awesome and defiantly sound great when you romp on it. Theres no drone when you're on the freeway or cruise controlled as with all Borlas. I have ATAK axle backs on as well so when I put the pedal to the floor she really gets it and sounds great! My neighbors hate it though lmao. If you want to hear it you can add my Instagram at Dynamic_3.7 Feel free to dm me on IG for any questions about my build!

    Amazing

First off, I want to start by saying that I had ordered these as well as 3.73 gears to have them both installed at the same time, so I can't really speak too much solely on the performance of this combo set. I had ordered these and received them within 3 days. After receiving these and my gears, I delivered them straight to the shop to have them installed professionally which cost me a total of $480. The mechanic had told me that the passenger side O2 sensor was not long enough and had to make a harness to extend it, so I would make sure you check with your mechanic to see what he/she has to say. For sound, it completely transforms the vehicle's quiet tone. Anything higher than 2K RPMs and the car is talking, though at 5k RPMS is when my mufflers don't seem to hold it's pitch and is drowned out by the screams of the combo set. It'll definitely break necks and I love it. My only gripe right now is this annoying rattle/metal scraping noise that comes from the vehicle at no matter what RPM I'm at. I've talked with my mechanic and he had explained that Borla failed to provide metal hangers for the vehicle so that could be the issue, so he will check to see what the noise is. Other than that, I love this set and sounds amazing as a V6. My setup is Steeda CAI, Borla S-Type Catback, this off-road kit, and a race tune 93-Oct.

Borla LT headers with o/r x pipe

My car gained more power and became faster after installing this product, and now it sounds way louder especially with the o/r x pipe. I had a hard time finding someone to install the headers. If anyone is going to buy this headers I recommend that you buy borla atak catback exhaust with it but people will hate you for the sound Installation took only 110 minutes, and I spent $150 to install it.

    Borla header/x-pipe

The 2014 mustang v6 is a fun car, but it does lack a certain auditory presence from the factory. Borla corrects the deficiency via the header/x-pipe combo. The resulting sound will distinguish your car from the rest of the pack. I haven't had a chance to run dyno numbers but the car seems to pull much harder in the midrange rpm. Bottom line, if you live in texas, or any state without emissions testing this kit is a no-brainer.

Sounds great, performs great, fit...not so much.

Definitely find yourself a second pair of hands to help you with this install. They sound amazing and the high-end horsepower and torque gains are great. The fit was a lil off. I had to expand the pipes on the forward connections of the midpipe to get them to fit over the headers. And even with the bolts on the headers barely threaded, I was barely able to get the midpipe connections lined up and slid over. Once I was able to get everything together though, this baby roars.

    Loud

If you want good performance gains and your 3.7 to sound ridiculously loud, get these. I reccomend getting resonators as well. They kill the rasp and make it have a much deeper rumble.

    Great Headers

I installed these myself, and it took about 6 hours. I had to lengthen the O2 sensor on the rear drivers side. Fitment was excellent other than that. Very good quality product. I have stock axle backs, Airaid CAI, and a Bama tune. I really like the sound! It has a good tone at idle and low rpm cruzing, but really screams at WOT! I am waiting on the BBK throttle body and new tunes to compliment my other add ons.

Quite disappointed with the finish and texture of the headers, otherwise it is excellent!

Shipping by Americanmuscle is incredible, I got my item earlier than scheduled by one day. The finish and texture of the headers is not smooth and bad, but i guess it doesnt affect as the headers are going to withstand extreme heat in the exhaust chamber anyway. I take one full day to install, probably around 500-700 to install. everything else is great. iT DOESNT make your exhaust sound deeper but kind of like make it scream, and trust me it is so loud that it hurts your ear when you are standing behind the car in full RPM range. If you want your car to be a neckbreaker to everyone when on the road, I would reccomend you guys this long tube headers and offroad pipe. P.S Borla give a cap too!

    Borla Gains

Overall these are a solid product. First and foremost the sound and power gains are extremely noticeable. Fairly tame under 2K, but anything above that and "wake the dead" mode has been activated. My only complaints are the price and fit/installation. These are on the pricy side, yet you are paying for Borla. In addition you don't have to worry about extending the O2 wires. The fit and installation was the worst part by far. Myself and two other friends worked on it all day. We may have gotten a bad pair or something because it seemed like nothing was fitting correctly. We had to bend the headers at the end to make it fit with the x-pipe. All in all, these headers are expensive and can be difficult to install. However, if you really want to separate yourself from the sea of V6 mustangs on the road go with these. Borla provides the gains and prestige.

    DROPED 1/4 mile times

i went with this headers including full borla exhaust ... tried it at first i still was hitting 13.7s after i updated my sct tuner for the exhaust set-up ... i droped to a 13.4 @ 103mph.... well worth it...installation was easy .. as far as sound goes, more than likely you will get a raspy sound, which i took care off by adding some small resonators....
