Description
High-Performance Brake System. The GT-2P-.8012A Brake Kit delivers superior stopping power and reliability for street, track, and race applications. It is designed as a complete axle set for the rear, pre-assembled for convenience, ensuring enhanced braking efficiency and consistency under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring cast monobloc radial mount calipers with a 4-piston configuration, the system uses advanced high carbon alloy in a 2-piece cross drilled disc assembly with corrosion-resistant plating. The discs are vented with a curved 48-vane design and incorporate a floating D-bobbin with an anti-rattle spring mounting system. The setup includes proprietary stainless steel braided brake lines by Goodridge and is available in red, black, silver, and yellow finishes for a distinctive look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with included CNC billet caliper adapters and all necessary hardware, requiring no additional drilling. The system is designed for direct fitment on the rear axle, facilitating an easier upgrade process for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 97-04 Corvette C5.
