Description
High-Performance Brake Upgrade. The Baer Pro+ Front Big Brake Kit with 14-Inch Rotors Hugger Orange Calipers is designed to deliver superior stopping power and performance for enhanced driving safety. This kit upgrades the front braking system by integrating advanced components that handle increased stress and heat during high-demand driving situations such as spirited driving or track use.
Construction and Appearance. The system features 6-piston fixed calipers CNC machined from US sourced forged or billet aluminum, ensuring strength and durability while minimizing weight. The calipers have a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. The rotors are 2-piece vented units with slots and drilled surfaces zinc plated for enhanced heat dissipation and longevity, combined with billet aluminum hats for rigidity.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill but no drilling is necessary as the kit fits over OE spindles and hubs. All mounting hardware and stainless braided hoses are provided to facilitate straightforward installation within most 18� or larger aftermarket wheels.
Application. This brake kit fits 1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 models using factory OE spindles and hubs. It is not compatible with factory Corvette wheels.
