    Review & Install Video

Hey I’m Justin with, and I’m checking out MGP’s front and rear caliper covers, fitting all 2005 and newer Mustangs. So here’s the deal, an aftermarket big brake kit is not exactly cheap, and painting your factory calipers can sometimes not give you the results you’re looking for. These covers from MGP are a great way to cover up those ugly factory calipers, while adding a little customization and helping to reduce the brake dust on your wheels. The covers are offered in a red or a black powder coat and with a number of different logo options. We have a couple here on the table including the red GT logo, the complete black Cobra setup, the red running Pony logo, and the black 5.0 logo, just to name a few. Taking a closer look at the calipers you’ll first notice a very durable T6 aluminum construction, along with that powder coated red or black finish. In addition we have the officially licensed logo right in the center, along with some simulated hardware for a more realistic look. The installation really isn’t all that bad and should take you about an hour from start to finish. Of course you will need to remove your wheels just to gain access to the calipers so make sure you have your jack handy. In addition you’re going to want to make sure 3/8” wrench just to tighten up the hardware on the covers themselves, but other than that everything is completely straightforward. So if you’re tired of looking at those rusty factory calipers and you don’t feel like forking out big dough for an aftermarket big brake kit, you’ll want to look into MGP’s caliper covers available right here at

Mustang Styling. This set of four Matte Black MGP Caliper Covers are a great way to set off your new rims and they feature modern "Mustang" lettering on the front two covers and the "3.7" logo on the rear two. Officially Licensed by Ford, these MGP Caliper Covers will give any Mustang a big brake race ready look that will turn heads.

Reduces Brake Dust. These Caliper Covers not only look fantastic, but they also act as a protective dust shield to help keep your rims looking cleaner longer.

Quality Construction. MGP makes their Caliper covers from light weight 6061-T6 Aerospace Aluminum that is formed to the caliper for a perfect fit. The covers are then completed in a matte black powder coated finish with silver lettering for impressive styling. The installation brackets are TIG welded in place for extra security.

Easy No Mess Install. Painting your calipers can be messy and time consuming, but the MGP Caliper Covers simply install over your stock calipers and are held in place with the supplied clip and bolt. For a no muss, no fuss install.

Application. Designed to fit over factory brakes, this set of four MGP caliper covers include all the required hardware needed for installation on a 2011 or newer V6 Mustang.

Technical Note. A minimum of 1/8 of an inch clearance between the wheel and the brake caliper is required for proper fitment. We have found that the MGP caliper covers will require the use of a small 5/16" spacer to provide proper clearance with our aftermarket Bullitt wheels, see drop down option above

do the caliper covers for the v6 fit the v6 with the performance package

    • Unfortunately, MGP Matte Black Caliper Covers w/ 3.7 Logo - Front & Rear (11-14 V6) will not fit with the Performance Package V6. The Performance Package has unique front and rear calipers that are a different size than those that are found on a regular V6.

      Great Product

The covers fit the calipers perfectly. The only issue I had is with the stock 17 inch wheels. I had to get wheels spacers. The covers were rubbing on the wheels.

      Figment issue

They look good and are easy to put on but the rear brackets have to be bent a bit to fit right without it scraping on the rotor. The way I fixed was taking pliers and bending the bottom of the bracket until it wouldn't fit and then slowly bend it back until it fit snugly around the bottom of the brake caliper

      MGP Caliper Covers

These caliper covers have a nice finish and really dress up the car by hiding the ugly stock brake callipers so I do recommend them. Only complaint is installation. Install of the front covers is no problem, but the rear callipers are closer to the wheel so you have to bend the cover mounting brackets and do some trial and error on install to get them to fit without rubbing the inside of the wheel. Once the job is done they look great just need time and patience to make the rear covers fit without rubbing the top of the rotor and the inside of the wheel.

These caliper covers were very easy to install. Great matte black finish and no more ugly calipers to spoil the great look of the mustang.

      nice touch

These caliper covers look great. They were easy to install and be sure to get the spacers just in case. Finally able to cover up those ugly calipers and add some style to the weels. Couldn't beat the price either, and as always the shipping was ridiculously quick. Thanks American Muscle!

Matte Black caliper covers w/3.7 logo

The Matte black caliper covers are a cool and well made addition to any mustang. I love these covers, I was so tired of those ugly calipers. This product improved the appearance of my mustang dramatically.

Covers look really nice, rear cover installation problematic

Front wheel cover installation was effortless. Rear wheel covers required multiple adjustments and still continue to rub on rotors when making sharp turns. I most likely will remove the rear covers since this makes the car sound tacky even though they look great on the car. The manufacturer needs to redesign the rear mounting clips to allow for more clearance so they do not rub on the rotors. If I did not like the appearance as much as I do, I most likely would have asked AM for a full refund.

      Great Product!

Looks really good and was an easy straight forward install. It just took time to jack up car and take off wheels. I have a 2013 V6 Performance Package Stang with Stock 19" Rims. I did not have to buy any spacers or anything extra. It fit perfectly with plenty of clearance from the caliper cover to the wheel. There was also clearance (with no rubbing) from the rotor to the mounting clip. Not much clearance, but enough. Looks really good on my Black Stang and is my second mod. I would only suggest spacers if you have after market rims. Price is a little bit high, but I got a really good deal on these and would of paid full price too.

      Looks good

Needed to change back to summer tires and thought why not get these. Price not too bad to give it a try, Does a great job in covering up the ugly calipers. As far as I'm conserned no extra work was required for me I needed to change all 4 tires anyway

I purchased the Black Covers for my Black 2013 V6. The covers look great! The install wasn't difficult at all (the hardest part is just getting the car jacked up & getting the wheels off). They really do cut down on the amount of break dust on the rims as well. I highly recommend the covers. Not only do they add a little "flash" to the overall look of the car, but they are functional as well. I would strongly suggest getting spacers for the front and rear wheels just to be on th safe side to prevent any possible rubbing.
