Hey, guys. Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the MGP Red Caliper Covers with the 5.0 Logo, fitting the front and rear of all 2015 and newer GT Mustangs. So in this video, of course, we'll be going over the styling and appearance of the MGP Red Caliper Covers as well as the materials and construction. I'll top the video off with the install, which I'll let you know upfront here gets a very, very simple one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Easy enough for almost anybody to take care of.The MGP Red Caliper Covers with the 5.0 Logo will be for any 2015 or newer Mustang GT owner who's in the interest of picking up a big brake kit without actually spending the money on one. This particular kit of MGP Caliper Covers will actually cover up your factory brake calipers to give it the impression of one of those expensive and aggressive big, great kits here with a red finish, a 5.0 logo for the rear, and a Mustang logo for the front. Now, obviously, if you're the owner of an S550, you might be interested in picking up a big brake kit. Now, like I just said, those can be extremely expensive, costing thousands of dollars to get, let alone install. Now, with that said, the factory 5.0 brake calipers, of course, do look pretty aggressive from the factory already and are pretty large in fact. Now, when you install these on top of that, you can make it even more aggressive, so some of you might want to stick to those factory calipers on your 5.0. But for the guys looking to add that unique shine to the brake assembly here and want to represent with a couple of different logo options, you have the 5.0 logo for the rear calipers and the Mustang lettering for the front in silver on top of a red painted caliper and a billet aluminum. Now, you also see on the front here are couple of rivets that are actually molded into the plastic. These aren't real rivets. It's just, honestly, for show. This is something that stands out a lot at car shows, so if you're the guy out there trying to win the award or just impressing your friends here, this is something that you can actually add to your appearance for a relatively affordable price without actually spending the big bucks on a big brake kit. Now, again, this is a 6061-T6 aluminum that is custom molded to fit exactly on top of your 5.0 calipers. If you're rocking a V6 or an EcoBoost, this particular kit won't fit, but there are other options on the market from MGP that will specifically fit your caliper setup. Now, on top of that, it's got the red powdered covering. It's got the silver 5.0 and silver Mustang lettering embedded into the materials here, the fake rivets on top here, and, of course, all this comes together and actually is a bit bigger than your factory calipers, so you can actually reduce brake dust. Now, as far as the pricing goes, this comes in right around 200 bucks for everything you see here. Now, in comparison to a big brake kit, which I want to point out...I keep mentioning this big brake kit. I know that has a lot more functionality than just appearance, but if you're only after that appearance, a set of MGP caliper covers can actually do the trick since these are bigger than the factory appearance. It reduces the brake dust, so it does have functionality while also looking very aggressive. Now, in my personal opinion, I'm not the biggest fan of the fake rivets here, so if they did away with those, I think it'd be something I'd be more interested in. But if you don't mind the fake rivets and you're interested in the 5.0 logo, the Mustang lettering, the red paint, you can pick this up for your S550 for just about 200 bucks. As far as the insulation is concerned, I wanna point out a couple of things before moving forward. This is specifically molded for your four-piston caliper on the 5.0 and will not fit any six-piston brake calipers. You are also required to have a 19-inch or larger wheel, but, of course, if you have all that good stuff, then you are ready to pick this up and install it.Now, as far as the installation goes, all you'll have to do is jack up the vehicle, remove one of the wheels, and bolt this on using the bolts on each side of the caliper covers, which will attach directly on top of your stock caliper. Repeat that process for the other three, and you're good to go. It's that simple.Overall, about an hours' worth of time tops and, of course, a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of a 2015 or newer Mustang GT and you're looking to pick up the impressive appearance of a big brake kit without the functionality and cost, you might wanna check out the MGP Red Caliper Covers with the 5.0 Logo here, which are available for the front and rear of your S550 right here at americanmuscle.com.
