Justin: The MMD Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Kit that we have here is gonna be a great choice for all 2015 and newer Non-Performance Pack owners who wanna dramatically change up the look of their interior by adding a quality eight-piece kit to both the doors and the dash of your ride. Now, this great fitting kit will utilize genuine carbon fiber material, covered in a nice, thick gloss coating, all for right around that mid-$900 price point. Now, since the installation will be a 100% peel-and-stick job, expect a pretty soft one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here and I'd say maybe 45 minutes to an hour of your time to get all eight pieces in place. But if you hang with me for a bit, we'll walk you through that job later in the video. All right. So, first things first, I do wanna point out, yes, this kit is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. However, at the same time, it's also one of the highest-quality interior kits that I have personally seen over the years here at AM. This is not ABS plastic, this is not vinyl, this is a legit carbon fiber weave, which has been finished off in a beautiful clear coat, polished to a beautiful shine, and then measured out and cut perfectly, as some of our customers have pointed out in the review section. In fact, feel free to read up on those, check out their pictures if you haven't already done so. But with that out of the way, let's talk a little bit more about what you can expect from this kit.And I do wanna point out, again, the big thing to keep in mind here, gang, is that this kit will only apply to Non-Performance Pack, V6, EcoBoost, and GTs, and the reason being is that those cars are not equipped with those dash-mounted gauges but rather the standard three vents, as you can see right here, which this kit does accommodate. But fitment side, the vibe I get from this kit is very Track Pack 2020 GT500, as those cars, if you didn't know, receive an abundance of carbon fiber both inside and out. I know I've had the pleasure of reviewing one, and let's just say it really does make a dramatic impact to the interior. Now, this kit from MMD does include eight total pieces altogether, including the main dash and vent portion right here, this is kind of the centerpiece, along with the lower side dash trim on both driver and passenger sides, and also the door pull and handle surrounds on both sides as well. Again, it is worth pointing out, the big draw with this kit will be the 100% genuine carbon fiber weave, and that certainly is going to contribute to that much higher price point. Now, if you don't have $900 plus to swing on a dash kit, you will be able to find some alternatives here on the site from vinyl to carbon fiber hydro dip plastic pieces from SpeedForm that will certainly be more affordable at the end of the day. Now, the backside of the MMD kit does come with pre-installed 3M tape for you, as you can see here, which is gonna make the installation extremely, extremely easy. Now, the big trick with this one, guys, is the prep, right? You'll wanna ensure a very clean surface before getting started. That means no dash dressing, arm roll, things like that, which would otherwise prevent a good adhesion. From there, you're just basically taking your time, getting everything lined up before sticking each panel on. Definitely not a tough job, but if you do want a better idea of how things are gonna go down, feel free to check out our detailed walk-through right now.Man: The tools used for this install are a microfiber cloth, interior cleaner, and a razor knife. So, the first step of this install is going to be to clean off all of the areas that are gonna have pieces stuck to them. Use a good interior cleaner and a microfiber cloth and wipe everything down so there's no dust, debris, or residue. So, let's get started. There are also these two panels right here in the back seat, so make sure you don't forget those. There's one on either side. All right. Since we already got the seats moved forward, and I don't like being in the back of a Mustang any more than anybody else, we're gonna start by peeling these corners back just so that I can align things properly when I install them onto the vehicle. And since the middle one will be a little tricky, I'm just gonna pull that one all the way off. Carefully get things positioned into place. And then, I can peel my tape all the way off and apply some light pressure to adhere my 3M. Now, we can just repeat this process on the other side of the back seat before we move to the front seat area. Now, I'm just gonna move on to the front of the car. Same process. And that's gonna wrap this review and install of the MMD Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Kit. Thanks for watching. And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
