Pre-Painting Is there any way if I want to order this, that I can have you guys pre-paint it, so it can be sent to me ready to go?

  • Unfortunately, we can't paint this hood scoop. We can only paint the parts specified on the site as pre-painted as they are completed in color and product batches, not individually.

    now on the wife's car

had body shop prep and install, need lots of fill and sanding to get it smooth. looks great and brings fond memories of looking over the same scoop in my 70 mach 1! prep and install cost $ 284.00 and i think the body shop was very kind in that price.

    Cervini's M1 Hood Scoop

I am not impressed with the hardware to install the scoop to the hood. The screws are a joke in my opinion to install the scoop. Would like to see a different approach for installation. I am having a professional body shop to install and paint. The scoop itself is nicely made and will be having installed soon.

    69 MACH 1 Hood Scoop

Scoop is fine for the look , but I am going for a fully functional scoop with working turn signal lights. Could not use on my 69/09 MACH 1.

    Looks Awesome When Cone!

I got this scoop for my 2007 GT Convertible. Decided to have it painted and installed by my shop. I think this was a good decision as my shop decided not to drill into the hood but to use epoxy. Also, painting plastic is VERY tricky and if you are not experienced the result could be less than perfect. The result for me was perfect and I put the finishing touch with a nondescript 4.6 L decal. It looks awesome and gets lots of positive comments. Quality is very good in my opinion. this is NOT one of those flimsy fiberglass scoops. Reminds me of a late 60's Mustang MACH I Recommend for sure!

    Amazing Difference

I really like the tough sporty look that it added to my stang. I took the scoop in to an Auto body shop to get installed and they were not to happy about the Template. They said the holes didn't match up so needless to say I ended up paying more for their frustrations. Also after I wash the car, I have water oozing out from under the scoop. you should send some sealant or something in your kit for this issue but all in all I am happy that I invested in this item.

    Cervini m1 scoop

This scoop looks great. A beautiful recreation of the 69-70 Mach 1 scoop. Had it professionally installed and painted and couldn't be any more happy with it. The billet insert can also be sanded down and painted black for those of you who opted for a black billet grill. Matches perfectly.

    Cervini's Hood Scoop

WOW! I bough this for my husband for Christmas, he had no idea. He LOVED it! It's at the paint shop now with the louvers we purchased a few days later. We'll see howit come out when the paint job is done and how easy it is to put on.

    Great looking scoop

I had this scoop painted at Fix A Chip in Easton PA. Tom did a great job painting it , and with his help I had it installed in about 30 minutes. Follow the instructions when preping the scoop for paint and you won't have any issues. Added that classic look to my 05 GT
