    Classic styling!

This will completely change the look for your mustang! I would suggest taking to a professional body/collision repair/paint shop for prep and finish. Worth every penny! Yes, the front of the scoop is open and comes with metal mesh section for cut to fit with template. There will be a slight gap between outer edge and body, but if you look at optional side scoops will have similar gaps.

    Cervini's Quarter Window Scoops

I see that a lot of people have had a problem with these scoops. I on the other hand, didn't experience any problems with them. In all honesty they sat in the box for about 9 months before I had them dropped off at the dealership to be painted along with the Cervini's side scoops. The two things I recommend, are test fitting them to ensure proper placement and taping off the outline for perfect alignment (this will take another person to help out). Once you're ready to place them on, make sure you buy extra 3m tape (the roll provided is nowhere near enough) and tape off all areas that will make contact with the car. YES!! This is necessary unless you want to spend all this money, to have them fly off on the road when the wind catches them. After that, you should be all set! I've had mine on for a year and I've not needed to retape them or anything. I get complements on them all the time!!

Good looking- just like picture. Haven't painted them yet, waiting on getting fiberglass spoiler, then paint both at the same time. They need sanding, and looks like there are a few instructions that need to be followed for prep. The '68 Shelby GT's had a similar scoop on them, so going for that look. Fast shipping- AM one of the best shops on the net, or anywhere!

Looks Good, but pain in the butt

These look great once on, but they don't mold exactly to the shape of the car so there is always a gap and the tape will sometimes come off. I find myself constantly checking them in my side mirrors when driving on the interstate, worried they are about to fly off. For the price they are kind of cheap. I don't like that I had to cut the metal vent cover myself, and I don't like how they are not molded to fit the mustang body, and they could also be a little bigger considering you have no play room at all (or the window will start to show). After all that, they do look real good! Tip: Make sure you sand down the paint underneath where you are applying the tape to the louvers or the tape will come right off. Also, paint the underside of the louver black or tint the side windows completely.

the molds came really ruff and oily, they were about to put the final coat of black and one spot didnt want to stick and the whole scoop hand to be sanded back down. they look awsome once you can get them on.

    quality problems

The body shop just called saying that the scoops are warped, wavy, and oily creating a problem painting them. While the will look great, the cost of prep and trueing the scoops to fit more than doubled the instilation cost .

    Great look.

Does require a bit more labor to make them look right, spent alot of time removing mold lines, when fitting, do so without the 3m tape, we then used blue 3m mask tape on the body to outline for perfect positioning.

    Cervini Quarter Window coops

For the money I was disapointed in the finish of the product. I realize that molds have to be made and without volume sale that the products are a bit more expencive. The exterior and especally the interior were very bad. I wouls have also expected the metal panels for the air intake to have been cut to the proper size. Overall I feel like I paid twice what I should have for the quality of the product I received. If my son had not wanted them so bad I would of asked to get my money back and looked for something else.

Tape didn't stick on first application. Used new 3m tape and holding fine. Paint the inside black, not the same as the car, unless your car is black. Slight gap around entire cover to the body of the car. Needs to be fitted a little more to body contour. Looks good and gets a lot of attention, just needs fine tuned.

I love the look. Per your instructions, I painted the inside covers before putting on the two sided tape. The tape did'nt stick, so I suggest just using a cleaning agent and then putting on the tape. It hold alot better. Thanks, Larry

    the fit

nice looking ,but they have a slight gap around the body edge ,they could also make them about 1/4 longer in length they barely cover the window , i had mine done by eureka auto body in eureka mo.,i recommend they be painted flat blk on the in side or use int window covers. thanks dennis
