Aggressive Retro Styling. Complete the retro inspired styling of your Mustang with Cervini's Three Piece Ducktail spoiler. Ducktail style spoilers were originally featured on the early GT500's and look awesome on all modern Mustangs.

Three Piece Design. Designed as a three piece kit the Cervini Ducktail rear spoiler covers the existing holes left in the trunk lid by the stock wing, and does not block the view of factory third brake light. Can be installed with the supplied 3M automotive bonding tape alone or combined with the included screws for extra security.

Superior Quality. Constructed from Injected Molded Urethane, Cervini's craftsman spend countless hours on each spoiler to assure a beautiful smooth wave free surface for a perfect OEM fit and appearance.

Application. This Cervini Ducktail Spoiler is designed to fit both the coupe and convertible 2010 and newer Mustangs, including the V6, GT, and Shelby models. This Rear Spoiler is not compatible with rear camera equipped vehicles.

Technical Notes. The Cervini Ducktail Spoiler ships unpainted. We recommended test fitting all products before they are painted. AmericanMuscle also recommends professional installation of all body parts.

How does the spoiler come? Is it just a flat black kind of color or what? Wondering if I could get away without painting it since my car is black...

  • Hey Josh, It will come in a beige-ish white color that is shown on the product page, so you probably won't be able to get away with not painting it unless you like the off white with the black

what about rear view camar

  • I don't think it will work with the camera, but I'm not positive. I would contact AmericanMuscle just to be sure

Will this work with tail light covers? These are the covers.

  • Shouldn't present a problem.

    Massive head turner

The photos really don't show just how massive this spoiler is. Really makes your mustang look bigger and wider from behind like older muscle cars. I think it looks a bit ridiculous and it cuts rear visibility more than you'd expect but whenever someone comments on it it's always positive and other mustang drivers ask me where I got it. Don't know how much the install was since I got a total color change but my body shop guy was not too happy when he saw how big it was so I expect it's normally more expensive to shape, paint, and install than the more common mustang spoilers. My advice would be to put this on a stealthier colored car or a show car because people will be looking at you everywhere. My biggest issues are that and that it is not held on with sturdier bolts. Also AM don't actually stock these they order them from Cervini on your behalf (how it was for me) so expect longer than normal shipping.

I wanted the old school retro look.

I put one one my 2011 black coupe and I nailed the installation on the first try. The one I put on my 2012 convertible took me three tries to get it strait and to stick properly. I didn't have the surface as clean as it should have been, They will need priming and blocking to get out minor imperfections before painting. I would recommend sealing any open cracks around the edges with clear silicone adhesive to keep water out. Looks fantastic!

    Has great style.

Excellent product; some people think it looks like a Shelby from the back. Gives the car flare! I really think we earn extra points when the car is being judged at a car show since the spoiler's a different style than stock. We receive compliments all the time on the spoiler, with questions regarding what type it is, etc. We really like the product and are enjoying it! Although we received the spoiler unpainted, since our car is two toned, our body guy decided to two tone the spoiler to match the car. It looks fantastic!!!!

Good, but the in$tall ain't cheap*

It looks good on the car, but the prep work is labor inten$ive. And that's because alot of sanding is required to get the 3 pieces to look right in paint. Lots of little pits, etc., that need to be smoothed away. By *in$tall, I also mean all the prep work required to get it ready for a good-looking paint job. The actual install on the car isn't too difficult for a competent body man.

    Old school look!!

I've had so many comments on the car now with the spoiler. It has an old school look and takes you down a different route of looks, where nowadays it is always a wing

The parts come very raw. A lot of prep work is needed to get the part ready for paint. I checked with the boby man to see each step. He took grate care with each step. The end result is better than factory. A lot of cars on the road today have a wing of some kind. I like the old style touch it gives my new BABY. VERY HAPPY. AM has exellent service and fast shipping as always.
