Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and as you can see I have a number of different shift knob options, all from Modern Billet™, fitting the 2011 and newer Mustang, available in your choice of either black or white resin, or satin or chrome Billet aluminum. Modern Billet™ is a company that specializes in making a number of different styling accessories for your Mustang. The first two options the bright chrome option, and the slightly more subtle satin option, work very well on the interiors of 2011 and newer cars, both have been CNC’d from a single block of T6 Billet aluminum, and I can tell you that because of this the knobs will have a good weight to them. The second pair of knobs do have more of a retro vibe going on thanks to the old school black or white appearance, these two have been CNC’d from a single bloc of either black or white resin, which is going to make them slightly different to the Billet aluminum knobs, for one, they’re not going to be nearly as heavy as those aluminum knobs, which some people will like while others like myself prefer a knob with a little more weight to it. On the hand those resin knobs aren’t going to get nearly as hot during the summer months or as cold during the winter months. All 4 shift knob options do come with this shift boot retainer which obviously fills the void left by removing the stock shift knob and holds the stock shift boot into place making for a cleaner appearance. As for the install, can’t get much easier here, remove the stock shift knob first, install that shift boot retainer, then screw the new shift knob into place. Getting everything done should only take you about 15 minutes from start to finish.
