Description
More Horsepower and Torque. Improve your Mustang's performance by installing a BBK 1-5/8 Inch Ceramic Long Tube Headers and SR Performance O2 Sensor Extensions Combo Kit. These BBK Long Tube Headers will greatly improve your Mustang's exhaust flow over the restrictive factory manifolds and increase your Pony's rear wheel horsepower and torque.
Titanium Coating. These Long Tube Headers are completed in BBK's Titanium Ceramic Coating that not only looks great, but reduces under hood temperatures to help increase horsepower and extend the life of the headers. Ceramic Coated headers will long out last both chrome plated and polished headers.
Quality Construction. BBK Long Tube Exhaust headers are manufactured from 1-5/8 inch CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. These Headers feature one piece laser cut 3/8 inch header flanges for additional strength, leak-free performance and a OEM fit. The headers are then finished with BBK's high-temp Titanium Ceramic Coating for good looks and to lower under hood temperatures.
O2 Sensor Wire Harness Extensions Included. When installing a set of BBK long tube headers on your Mustang the factory front oxygen sensor wire harnesses come up short and won't reach the upstream O2 sensors. That is why you will need SR Performance O2 Extensions to bridge the gap allowing you to reconnect your sensors in an easy plug-n-play fashion. Please Note. O2 Sensors are not included with these Extensions.
Tuning Required. Installation of these BBK Long Tube Headers will require the use of a tuner to reprogram the vehicle’s computer or ECU for operation. By reprogramming your Mustang’s ECU, you can maximize the full potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer.
Required Upgrade. When upgrading to a set of BBK long tube headers on your Mustang you will require a new X-Pipe or H-Pipe for proper installation. BBK recommends using a BBK X-Pipe for the best performance gains. Mid-Pipe not included - sold separately.
Not CARB Certified. These BBK Long Tube Headers are not CARB certified, therefore they are not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
