    5 Top Rated Questions

I presently have a clearance problem with getting my 2018 GT PP1 into my garage because of the incline/floor angle. Unless I keep a pound or two over recommended PSI, a single bolt that is just behind the front wheels (pointing down) will scrape on the corner-edge. (better that than anything else) My car has the staggered wheel-tire sizes. So considering all season tires- which I'd love to have- is a scary thought. Should these Continentals not stand as tall (or taller than the stock Michelin Pilots) mounted, I'd be out over a thousand bucks. I hope this made sense, and I guess my question is; will I lose "ride height" with these? Does any stock S550 PP1 owner have these mounted? What is the overall tire height of the back ones? Thanks!

    • The ride height entirely depends on what sidewall you go with. If you are looking to make sure you doing lose clearance, you would have to make sure that the side wall isn't any smaller on your new tire as they are on your current tires.

Do these tires lean more toward being soft or being hard? I know it's not a summer tire, but if I were to launch from a line, would I be spinning the wheels endlessly or are they soft enough to grip relatively well (in warmer weather)

    • The Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 High Performance All Season Tire will have a 560 AA A UTQG Rating, (Tread wear 560, Traction AA, Temperature A) so for an all season tire, these will have good grip, however they will not be on par with most dedicated summer performance tires.

If I order the tires through you does it also come with the warranty that continental gives in this tire?

    • The Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 High Performance All Season Tire will carry the OEM Continental warranty.

I currently have the stock Pirelli's 255/40/19 on my s550, but I've dropped the car with the Eibach Sportline kit, so the car sits pretty low. If I go with the 255's on this set I know I'll be okay, but would I have any issues going with the 275's? Pretty sure the front will be OK, but what about the rear- when I look at it it's pretty close in terms of the height of the quarter panel and the height of the wheel. And what if I have the 1inch wheel spacers? Do you think that's just overkill and the wheel will stick out too much?

    • 275's should fit, however depending on your wheel offset, you may experience rubbing, especially in the front during turns.

The 255/40-19 should work fine on my stock 2016 GT Premium right? 19x9" Stock Wheels, and I believe that fits perfectly, but want to be sure!

    • The Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 High Performance All Season Tire in a 255/40 will work no problem with the stock wheels.

Hi will you be getting other sizes like 265/35R20? 1 answer
Will a 275/40/19 tire fit on my stock rim? I have a 2016 gt premium and was wanting to run them at all 4 corners for that awesome square stance. 1 answer

      Good but not great

Good solid tire so far. Even with going from the stock eagle 235's to these 275's there was no noticable difference though in daily driving. Not sure it was worth the extra money but can't say it was a waste as they are still good solid tires just not an improvement.

19" Staggered set up on my 2018 PP1

Had AM mount them on 4 new RTR Tech7 wheels. I live in the midsouth so I don't see much snow but we do have temps that get down into the 20's, making the factory PP1 Michelin tires useless under 45 dgerees. The Conti's have handled rain and sleet without issue or making me feel like I am losing control.

Great Tires for my 07 Mustang GT Premium

I bought staggered 19" Continental Extreme Contact complete with Chrome Bullitt Rims. They look great and perform excellent. I live in Norway and the quality of the roads could be much better, but I am very satisfied with the way my 2007 Mustang GT Premium Convertible handle the challenge of Norwegian roads.

      Great tire!

First time I used an all-weather tire on my Mustangs and I have to say I’m very impressed. We’ll see how they wear with my aggressive driving!

      Love these tires

This is the second set of these exact tires I've had. I use them all year around. Great in snow, rain and summer. I've went to "Tail of the Dragon" and other places with these in the summer. This tire is probably the BEST for the money considering they have a 560 tread wear rating. Can any all-season performance tire beat THAT wear rating? I don't know of any. Hold air great and have wheel protector tread.

      275-40ZR19 all around

Amazing tire with great grip and stance all around. Better than the 255-40R19 before and much smoother ride but still agressive in the corner.

      So far I like them

Replaced the factory Pirelli tires with these and I'm satisfied. They seem to have just as good grip however they seem to not handle as good. Maybe the sidewall isn't as stiff because the car doesn't seem as planted on the ground as before. I bought these for everyday driving and I believe these will suffice just fine. Time will tell as to how they wear.

Review from Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 High Performance All Season Tire - 255/40R19 (05-19 All)

Way better than the TP PP stock pirelli

So far just replaced the stock rear at 11k miles. The stock pirellis are a joke compared to these tires. 2016 Gt is data logged, e85, side pipes, cai and in normal mode was having to start off in 2nd. Very happy to get first gear back. Thus review is on the tire in general. Not size cause the rears are larger. Will be buying this size next when the front are worn out so I'll have a matching set.
