Performance Brake Rotor. The DBA 5000 Series T3 Slotted Rotor for the front axle is a premium high-performance brake rotor designed for direct replacement applications. Featuring a patented tri-symmetrical T3 bi-directional slot design, it enhances braking responsiveness and consistency by efficiently expelling friction dust and gases. This rotor is ideal for drivers seeking improved pedal feel and reliable stopping power in demanding driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The rotor combines high carbon cast iron rings with aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum hats, using National Aerospace Standards bolts and crimp nuts to ensure strength and minimize weight. Its slotted surface displays a precise CNC-machined bi-directional slot pattern, while non-friction areas are painted to resist rust and improve visual appeal. The rotor also features a CBN-machined finish and thermographic heat paint to optimize thermal management and allow temperature monitoring.
Installation. Designed as a direct replacement, installation requires no additional drilling or modification, making it straightforward for individuals with standard mechanical skills. The two-piece construction allows economical servicing by replacing hats or rings separately if needed.
Warranty. This brake rotor includes a 12-month or 20,000-kilometer (approximately 12,000 miles) warranty, providing assurance of quality and durability.
