This dual-action surface design enhances bite and pedal feel while reducing brake fade during repeated heavy braking. The result is a cleaner contact surface and more consistent braking performance, especially in spirited driving or emergency situations.

      Thermal Stability Profiling. DBA’s proprietary Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) process realigns the microstructure of the DBA 4000 Series XS Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotor; Rear’s high carbon alloyed iron, increasing its ability to withstand extreme heat cycles. This treatment significantly improves rotor durability and reduces the risk of warping or cracking under high-stress conditions, making it ideal for performance applications without the Z07 brake package.

      Kangaroo Paw Ventilation Technology. The DBA 4000 Series XS Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotor; Rear incorporates DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which uses 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars to increase surface area and airflow. Compared to traditional straight vane designs, this innovation boosts cooling efficiency by up to 20%, helping maintain optimal braking temperatures and prolonging both rotor and pad life.

      Thermographic Heat Paint Indicators. To assist with monitoring rotor fatigue and braking temperatures, the DBA 4000 Series XS Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotor; Rear includes thermographic heat paint markings that change color at specific thresholds.
