High Performance Upgrade. Is your stock fuel pump having troubles keeping up with your Mustangs fuel demands? Then it may be time to upgrade to a DeatschWerks In Tank Fuel Pump. Rated at a generous 340 LPH (liters per hour), this DeatschWerks In Tank Fuel Pump can support high power applications up to 500+ horsepower. This makes DeatschWerks Fuel Pumps ideal for supercharged, turbocharged and nitrous setups.

E85 Compatible. E85 is a blend of gasoline and ethanol, in any ratio up to 85 percent ethanol. E85 is inexpensive and great for making more power, but the ethanol (alcohol) content can corrode or dry out the internal components of factory fuel pumps. It is specifically because of these reasons that DeatschWerks engineered their DW300m In-Tank Fuel Pump to be compatible with E85 fuels to avoid any potential issues.

Direct Drop In Replacement. DeatschWerks engineered their high flow Fuel Pump to be a direct drop in replacement for your Mustangs stock pump. Designed to replicate the size, geometry and electrical connectors of the original, this 340LPH Pump installs directly into the factory module with no wiring or cutting required.

Application. This DeatschWerks 340 lph In Tank Fuel Pump with Installation Kit is specifically designed for use on 2005-2010 GT, Bullitt and V6 Mustangs. Does not fit Shelby GT500 models.

Does it come with gaskets and fuel level sending unit or is this separate

Can you install two of these pumps on to a 2010 gt500 hat? If so, can I still run my kenne bell dual boosta pump?

    • The DeatschWerks 340 lph In Tank Fuel Pump is designed to be a direct fit replacement for the stock fuel pump. You may be able to get two of these to work for your application, but it would likely require a bit of modification.

Is it necessary to have a tune for this since it doesn't replace the entire assembly? How tough is it to pull the old pump out of the stock assembly?

    • The DeatschWerks 340 lph In Tank Fuel Pump w/ Install Kit (05-10 GT, V6) will not require a new tune as it is a direct drop in replacement fuel pump. For installation help, call us at http://www.americanmuscle.com/contact.html or contact a trusted mechanic.

      Not worth the headache

I Ordered this part because it was supposed to be a quick and easy swap just like the description said this was not true I was seeing the pump and it did not fit in the factory location like stated it also did not come with the installation kit Thus meaning you do have to cut and splice wires do not order Just order a kit that comes with everything not worth it at all

Hello Mekkah, we apologize you did not have a good experience with this pump. All of our application specific pump + kit part numbers should come with everything needed to install the pump into OE housing. We have found that some of the aftermarket pump assembly manufacturers use their own pumps within the assembly and those pumps do not always 100% match the OE pump and assembly.

If your pump + kit part number did not come with a kit, then this was a packaging issue and we can get that resolved. Pretty easy

Works well since I’ve installed it, was a bit of a pain to install because of where it’s located in the vehicle but overall pretty easy too. There some good YouTube videos to watch if you don’t know what you’re doing and trying to learn before installing.

      Don't waste your money.

Bought this pump to run on my 06 GT with a Paxton Novi 1200sl. And it will not keep up with the fuel demand over 6000 rpm. They claim it will support 500 hp making it great for supercharged and turbo applications, I highly doubt it. Now after only running it for tuning the car I have to pull the pump purchase and replace it with a bigger one. AM on the other hand is top notch they always ship fast and everything is always packaged neatly and secure. PS it only got a star so I could continue with the review.

      Defective After One Month

Fuel pump was installed in vehicle for a little over a month running on stock pressure, and went out completely, contacted american muscle for support, and they claimed there was nothing they could do and to contact the company directly. Horrible part, will not purchase from this company again.

      About 500 horses

I have one of these in the tank in my turbo car, and I have it almost maxed out at 10 psi. Very good value if you're still on the factory engine, however it won't push you much further

      Must have

I recently added a nitrous kit on my car and didn't trust the oem fuel pump. Now with this I trust it will provide the fuel needed and I can run E85 to get the maximum power out of my set up. Great upgrade over stock!
