This design keeps the intake runners cooler by isolating them from engine heat, resulting in a denser air charge that improves combustion efficiency and throttle response, ideal for street performance and high-output applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from premium aluminum, this intake manifold is cast and machined in the USA. It features a durable chrome plasma finish that offers both an attractive look and lasting corrosion resistance. The dual-plane, high-rise layout accommodates 180-degree firing orders and balances horsepower gains with street-friendly drivability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and no drilling, making it attainable for enthusiasts familiar with engine upgrades. Proper torque and sealing methods are critical, including the mandatory use of RTV sealant instead of end seal gaskets to ensure a leak-free seal. Hardened washers are required on intake bolts to prevent galling and ensure correct torque application.
Warranty. This manifold includes a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
