what is lowest i could go on these bolts? i want to lower about 1.5 inches, would these be a good alterantive to CC plates??

        • Yessir! I dropped 1.5" on an 03 v6 and they provide enough adjustment to compensate.

I have a 98 Mustang v6 convertible, I recently bought eibach pro kit lowering springs that will lower he car 1.5” but haven’t installed them yet, will these camber bolts work for that set up or will I need CC plates?

        • For anything with a drop of more than one inch we recommend getting caster camber plates.

I'm lowering my 14 5.0 with eibach sportline spring how many camber bolts do I need to get for the alignment

        • Only one set of Eibach Pro-Alignment Camber Adjustment Bolts are required per car. An item quantity of 1 is all that is needed since these are sold as a set.

Can these be installed with SR lowering springs? I was wondering if these camber bolts could be used with basically any set of lowering springs, or if they have to be used with Eibach lowering springs? Thanks. 2 answers

            supper

Im a certified ford tech. I found when I installed lowering springs on my mustang they help a lot with camber but your caster will be affected by this and you will need caster camber plates. but these bolts saved my butt when doing my alignment and if you need more caster drill out the ribbits on your factor plates and move it where you need it it gets close enough. great product very helpful.

            Easy to install

Bout this for my 1.5" lowering springs to adjust the camber, but after installing it, I could not get the camber to go into the green (-0.5°) for each side. One side would go into spec, and the other would not get close, (-1.3°) was the closest I could get. On top of that, I need to adjuat my caster since it is off because of the camber bolts.Wasted 2 hours on the alignment. You are better off buying the caster camber plates

            Camber bolts

I recently installed a set of Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs on my 2003 Mustang Mach1. I purchased a set of the Eibach Camber Bolts as a cheaper alternative to caster camber plates. As it turns out, I didn't need either one. I had the technician install the camber bolts but when he did an alignment, the Mach was still within factory specs so no adjustment of the bolts were needed. However, I’m still glad I bought them just in case I need further adjustment later on. Not to mention, they’re less than $30 so they don’t break the bank.

            Don't stay aligned

These bolts we're good quality but after a few weeks of driving they slipped and messed up my alignment. I re adjusted them and after a few more weeks they slipped again. I would recommend spending the extra $100 to get caster camber plates.

            Alignment Bolts

It was meant to align your camber and for the price you cannot beat it. Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber plates are 200$ and the only time your caster comes out of play is when you get in an accident.

            Could not install

I tried to install these in the upper strut hole after I installed lowering springs, and I simply could not get them into the hole. I spent half an hour realigning the bolt and ramming it with a sledge hammer and the cam lobe simply would not budge. Even if it did, I would have had no idea what to do, as the instructions said nothing about the orientation the cam lobe was supposed to face, or where the random washer-type item included in the package was supposed to go. Terrible instructions and terrible fitment, and there is absolutely no information for SN95 Mustangs online about this specific part.

            Work great for correcting camber

If you have a lowered car, these bolts work great in conjunction with caster/camber plates. The shop that did my alignment said there wasn't enough travel in the plates alone, and these bolts helped that. The fit of the bolts themselves was perfect, but the bolt heads are not the same as the factory which is annoying when you have 4-5 sockets laying around for the old bolts, the new ones, and the brakes. For a $25 set of bolts, I would expect them to come with some sort of instructions, but I found myself looking up YouTube videos to figure out what all of the extra washers are for. You'll also need to find another pair of nuts to fit the end of the new bolts for the brake line bracket. Overall, they do help correct the camber, but outside of that they aren't worth the time, and especially not the money.

A must upgrade for lowered Mustangs.

I wasn't sure if this would help me after lowering My mustang but it did. It has enough adjustment to be very effective. Without this my front tires got worn really bad on the inside so much from the Camber offset that lowering causes. In my opinion you shouldn't be buying lowering spring without these bolts.

            Works Perfect ally

I installed these on my 1996 Mustang GT Conv. after installing a Eibach Pro plus system. My camber was out by 1 degree both sides. These camber bolts put my car right back into specs. Great idea to install after lowering your Mustang. Will help with not ending up with bad tire wear and your car will handle even better.

            Perfect

It seems unless you do something like Griggs, it doesn't seem to matter how much you can adjust it the top of the shock to try to take out the negative camber, there simply isn't the room in some cases. And I found that with the newly installed coil overs to go with the rest of the full Maximum Motorsports front suspension, because of the limited amount of side in the shock towers, my coil overs were rubbing up against the outside of the tower because, in order to take out that camber, they had pretty much extended the caster/camber plates a far out as they could go. Enter the camber bolts from Eibach. With the ability to add or remove up to 1.7 degrees of camber at the spindle, they're the perfect compliment to those who want the most adjustability and functionality in their front end. Whether you are carving corners at you local open course track or autocross and need that extra negative camber or your just asking the streets and want something that's a bit more streetable but still shows for complete adjustability, you need these!

Bolts were alright, very hard to put in. Other than that they helped fix the camber from lowering somewhat. Would purchase these again if not camber plates.
