Hey, what's going on, guys? Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today I'm bringing you a detailed review of Carrichs Third Brake Light Covers in the chrome ABS finish, fitting all '09 to '14 F-150s. So Carrichs Third Brake Light Cover in the chrome ABS finish will be for all '09 to '14 F-150 owners out there looking to add an exterior shine to their third brake light giving the exterior that flashy, noticeable appearance. Now we all know it really is the little things that can make such a big difference when it comes to the exterior appearance of your truck. Now Carrichs Third Brake Light Cover in that chrome ABS finish is definitely gonna be one of those little things that add on to the exterior styling of your truck with a very, very inexpensive price tag and a very simple installation that really just sticks on your third brake light. So this option comes as a perfect fitment to your truck's trim and is ready to stick on with the 3M tape that's already pre-applied to the back of the product. The only thing you'd have to do for the installation is peel back the backing on that 3M tape and stick it right on to the third brake light for a very painless installation, something anybody can do with a little bit of time at home. I'll touch on that in just a moment. But I do wanna point out this will require no modifications and won't even affect your factory paint. This option from Carrichs offers a triple dip chrome plating giving you that bright, mirror-like shine finish to give a noticeable appearance to the exterior of your truck. You can expect an automotive grade ABS plastic to blend in with the quality of all OEM materials and even to blend in with any chrome trim you may already have on the vehicle now.You can expect this piece to stand the test of time because this will not be cracking or chipping given the long periods of time and all year round usage. So obviously exterior chrome trim won't be for everybody, but if you are interested in picking up this piece, expect to be spending just about 30 bucks, definitely not the most expensive piece out there, definitely not the cheapest. This kind of falls right in the middle.I would definitely say you'd get a lot of bang for your buck if you are into the chrome trim. You get the mirror-like shine, very durable quality material, and an extremely simple installation. Speaking of that installation, expect to be spending about 10 minutes or so in the driveway at home, something anybody could do with just a little bit of time and you won't even need any hand tools. The only thing you're gonna need to do is wipe down the area with some alcohol wipes to make sure you're free of any dirt and dust right around that third brake light. Once that's done and it's completely clean, peel back the 3M tape already pre-applied on the back of the cover and stick it into place. Like I said, definitely something anybody can do, which is why I'd give this one a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. So just to quickly wrap things up, guys, if you're the owner of an '09 to '14 F-150 and you're looking for an inexpensive way to pick up some subtle chrome trim for the rear end of your truck, you might wanna check out Carrichs Third Brake Light Cover in the chrome ABS trim, available right here at americanmuscle.com.
