Made for a 7.5-inch differential, this set of gears provides a 4.56 ratio to ensure that your Mustang moves at a quicker pace while maintaining a high level of cruising. That way, you don’t have to worry about issues such as engine overheating, which is more likely to occur at slower speeds.

      Steely Manufacture. Each gear is forged from 8620-grade steel. Tough and resilient, this metal is perfect for medium-strength automotive items like gears. It’s a guarantee that they won’t bend or break, let alone corrode.

      Covered by One-Year/50,000-Mile Limited Warranty. For a period of one year or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of purchase, EXCEL from RICHMOND GEAR warrants that these gears will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

      Expert-Level Installation. The ring and pinion gears require an expert level of mechanical skill to apply on your Mustang. It should take about six hours to do so.

      Application. The EXCEL from Richmond Ring Gear and Pinion Kit – 4.56 Gears fits all 1999–2004 Ford Mustang V6 models. It is sold as a kit, and it requires a notched cross pin for ring gear clearance.
