Description
Performance Suspension Upgrade. The Five8 Industries SS Sport Coil-Over Kit is designed to enhance the handling and drivability of the 79-93 Mustang. It allows drivers to lower their vehicle while significantly improving chassis stability, cornering response, and reducing body roll for street and performance driving.
Construction and Appearance. This coilover system features a seamless 52mm electroplated carbon steel shock body for superior corrosion resistance. CNC-machined 6061 aluminum pistons and floating pistons ensure precision and durability. The kit also includes cold-wound SAE9254 performance springs and polyurethane oil seals, complemented by a 7.5W compounded suspension fluid for consistent damping performance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is designed to directly replace the factory suspension components without any drilling. The full-length ride height adjustment allows easy customization of the vehicle’s stance without complex modifications.
Application. This coilover kit is engineered exclusively for the 1979 through 1993 Ford Mustang Foxbody platform, providing an ideal suspension upgrade tailored for this specific model range.
