Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler, with a 2.25-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet, delivers an aggressive sound perfect for street and strip vehicles. Engineered to improve exhaust flow and scavenging, it enhances engine performance while reducing interior resonance for a more comfortable ride.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features full MIG welding to ensure strength and longevity. It is finished with high-temperature black paint, offering a sleek, corrosion-resistant coating suitable for various driving conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit and clamp-on or weld-on inlet types. No drilling is typically required; however, new hangers must be installed as none are included with the muffler.
Warranty. A limited warranty is included to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles, including those with 4 and 6 cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs; note that some adaptation may be necessary during installation.
