Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch inlet and 2.25-Inch outlet is engineered to produce an aggressive exhaust tone while enhancing engine performance. It is perfectly suited for street, strip, and off-road use, providing improved scavenging and reduced interior sound for a more enjoyable driving experience.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a fully MIG-welded construction for maximum strength and longevity. It is coated with high-temperature black paint to resist corrosion and maintain its appearance even under extreme conditions.
Installation. Installation is simple with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, offering clamp-on or weld-on options as needed. This universal fit muffler may require some adaptation during installation, and hangers are not included and must be sourced separately.
Application. This muffler fits a broad selection of vehicles including 4 and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip setups, as well as trucks and SUVs. While universal in design, some modification might be necessary to achieve proper fitment.
