Description
Advanced Muffler Design. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Offset Oval Muffler with 3-Inch Inlet and 3-Inch Outlet delivers a distinctive aggressive sound while enhancing exhaust flow through patented Delta Flow scavenging technology. It is engineered for street, strip, and off-road applications, offering improved scavenging and reduced interior resonance compared to standard chambered mufflers.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for durability and long-lasting performance. It features a high-temperature black painted finish for heat resistance and an appealing aesthetic suitable for various vehicle styles.
Installation. The muffler offers slip-fit with clamp-on or weld-on inlet and outlet connections and requires the use of new hangers, which are not included. Installation is straightforward but may require some adaptation depending on the vehicle’s specific setup.
