Description
Aggressive Sound Performance. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch Inlet and 2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver an aggressive tone that balances street and strip performance. It enhances exhaust scavenging for improved engine efficiency and reduces interior sound resonance, providing a more comfortable driving experience.
Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It is coated with high-temperature paint that withstands heat to maintain its finish under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections allowing clamp-on or weld-on mounting. New hangers are required but not included; however, drilling is typically not necessary. Some adaptation may be required for fitment.
Application. This muffler fits universally across various 4- and 6-cylinder engines as well as classic and late-model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs; some adaptation may be required for certain applications.
