Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Offset Oval Muffler; 2.50-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet enhances exhaust flow and delivers an aggressive sound. It reduces interior resonance while improving scavenging for better engine performance, making it suitable for street, strip, and off-road use.
Construction and Appearance. This muffler features a two-chamber design with Delta Flow technology, constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel. It is fully MIG welded for strength and coated with high-temperature paint for a long-lasting finish.
Installation. Installation utilizes slip-fit inlet and outlet connections allowing for clamp-on or weld-on options. New hangers are required but not included. No drilling is typically necessary during installation.
Application. This universal muffler fits a range of vehicle types including 4 and 6 cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs. Some adaptation may be necessary depending on the vehicle setup.
