Description
Performance Race Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Offset/Offset Race Muffler with a 3.50-inch inlet and 3.50-inch outlet is engineered to provide excellent power characteristics while significantly reducing sound levels compared to open headers. It is designed specifically for racing applications that require mufflers to meet noise restrictions without compromising performance.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This muffler features a durable 409 stainless steel fully welded construction with a high-temperature black-painted finish. Its chambered oval shape integrates Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology to deliver an aggressive sound while effectively reducing decibels without using internal packing, which can burn out over time.
_x000D_Installation. Installation requires some adaptation because this is a universal fit muffler that does not include clamps or hangers. Drilling may be necessary depending on your vehicle setup, and new hangers must be used as they are not included.
_x000D_Application. This muffler fits a wide range of universal applications across classic muscle cars, late model muscle cars, race vehicles, and street/strip trucks, with some adaptation required for proper fitment.
