Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.50-inch inlet and 2.25-inch outlet delivers an aggressive sound and enhances exhaust scavenging. Designed for street, strip, and off-road use, it reduces interior resonance while producing a milder exterior tone compared to standard 40 Series mufflers.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welds, this muffler employs Flowmaster's Delta Flow technology, which utilizes dual chambers and deflectors to improve performance. It is coated with high-temperature black paint to resist heat and corrosion.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, and clamp-on or weld-on inlet options. Vehicle-specific hangers are required and not included. Some adaptation may be necessary for universal fitment.
Application. This muffler is designed for universal applications and is suitable for a wide range of vehicles, although some fitting adaptations may be needed for proper installation.
