Description
Performance Enhancement. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.25-Inch Inlet and Outlet delivers a deep, aggressive sound ideal for street and strip vehicles. Featuring Delta Flow® technology, it enhances exhaust flow and power, making it well-suited for forced induction and high horsepower applications.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler has a durable, high-temperature black paint finish and is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. Its oval shape and offset inlet/outlet design provide improved performance and flexible fitment.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires some adaptation to fit various vehicles. New hangers are needed but not included. The muffler supports both clamp-on and weld-on connections and does not require drilling.
Application. This universal-fit muffler is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, trucks, and SUVs.
