Description
Aggressive Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Offset Oval Muffler with 3-inch inlet and 3-inch outlet utilizes Delta Flow technology to enhance exhaust scavenging, improving engine performance while delivering an aggressive and distinctive sound. It is engineered for street and strip use, balancing a powerful tone with effective sound control to reduce interior resonance.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, the muffler features fully MIG-welded seams for long-lasting strength and corrosion resistance. It is finished with a high-temperature black paint that protects against the elements and maintains a professional appearance through heavy use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, featuring slip-fit inlet and outlet connections that support clamp-on or weld-on attachment methods. While no drilling is typically needed, this muffler requires new hangers which are not included.
Application. Designed for universal fitment with some adaptation required, this muffler suits a variety of vehicle types including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs.
