      Description

      Innovative Muffler Design. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2.25-Inch Inlet/2.25-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver improved performance by incorporating unique Delta Flow technology. This muffler enhances exhaust scavenging, optimizing power while providing an aggressive exterior sound and reduced interior resonance, ideal for street and strip applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded, this muffler is built to last. It features a high-temperature painted black finish that resists heat and corrosion, combined with an oval shape designed to optimize exhaust flow and sound control.

      Installation. Designed for slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with clamp-on or weld-on options, installation is straightforward and requires no special drilling. Mounting utilizes new hangers, which are not included and may require adaptation during installation.

      Application. This muffler offers a universal fit for 4 and 6 cylinder engines as well as various muscle cars, street rods, trucks, and SUVs. Some adaptation may be required during installation to accommodate specific vehicle configurations.
