Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers an aggressive sound with enhanced scavenging for improved exhaust flow and performance. It is ideal for street, strip, and off-road applications where a balance between performance and a milder interior tone is desired.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for durability, the muffler features a high-temperature painted black finish for corrosion resistance and an appealing look. The chambered oval design incorporates proprietary Delta Flow technology to reduce interior resonance and exterior noise simultaneously.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, utilizing slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on methods. New hangers are required and not included. No drilling is necessary for most installations, making it suitable for universal fitment applications.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer-backed warranty protecting against defects and workmanship.
Application. Designed for universal fitment across various vehicle types including 4 and 6 cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks/SUVs. Some adaptation, such as adjustments to hangers or exhaust routing, may be required during installation.
