Description
Performance-Oriented Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.50-inch inlet and outlet delivers an aggressive sound and enhanced exhaust scavenging through its two-chamber Delta Flow design. This muffler is engineered for street, strip, and off-road applications, providing automotive enthusiasts with improved performance and a distinctive exhaust tone.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a fully MIG-welded construction for long-lasting reliability. Its black high-temperature painted finish offers resistance to heat and corrosion while enhancing its street-ready appearance.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills with clamp-on or weld-on inlet connection options. No drilling is needed; however, new hangers are necessary as they are not included with the muffler.
Application. This muffler is designed for universal fitment though some adaptation may be required for proper installation on various vehicles, including 4 or 6 cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip cars, and trucks or SUVs.
